3) A ball striking any part of the netting behind home plate or press box is a dead ball.

4) A ball lodging in the field tarp or entering the field tarp cylinder is a dead ball.

5) A catch will not be allowed if a player has placed any footing on the field tarp or field tarp cylinder. However, a player may lean on or over the field tarp to make a catch.

6) A ball lodging into the fence leading to the grounds area is a dead ball.

7) A ball lodging in the protective padding on the outfield fence or under the outfield fence is a dead ball.

8) A batted ball in flight must pass over the front fence in left field and right field to be a home run. The area between two vertical yellow lines on the outfield fence designates what is defined as center field.
