Ground Rules
1) All South Atlantic League baseball games at L. P. Frans Stadium are played under the official rules of Major League Baseball and the Game Operations Guidelines set forth by the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues.
2) Home Runs: Any ball hit above and beyond the first level of the outfield fence is to be ruled a home run.
3) Dugouts: If a ball is hit toward either the first base or third base dugout, it may be caught for an out only if the defensive player catches the ball with both feet on the top step of the dugout. 5) Thrown balls into the net in front of the stands above the first and third base dugouts are dead balls.
6) Any baseball that hits off the backstop netting due to a pitch or throw is a live ball. Any ball to hit the netting off a bat will ruled a dead ball.
