EJECTIONS

 
In all cases where a manager, coach, or player violates the Official Baseball Rules, the initial penalty will be the prompt removal of the offender from the game and playing field.  A fine and/or a period of suspension from service with the club may follow this initial penalty.

If a manager, player, coach or trainer is ejected from the game, he shall leave the field immediately and take no further part in the game.  He shall remain in the clubhouse or change into street clothes and either leave the park or take a seat in the grandstand well removed from the vicinity of his team’s bench or bullpen.
