STARTING THE GAMES

 
The home club shall, as a common courtesy, contact both the visiting club’s Field Manager and General Manager when it is obvious that the weather or field conditions are going to cause a game to be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled.  In addition, on days when weather will be a factor in the playing of a game, the home club shall, as a common courtesy, contact both the visiting club’s Field Manager and General Manager to notify them whether the visiting club will be able to take batting and infield practice.

The home club has the authority to reschedule or cancel batting or infield practice due to poor field conditions or special promotions.

The home club MUST inform visiting club officials of all plans regarding special promotions.  Notification should be given as far in advance as possible, preferably at least one day in advance.  An additional reminder should be delivered to the visiting team Field Manager when he arrives at the ballpark on the day when a special promotion will affect batting or infield practice.
